The Action team were out holding street stalls across the whole of the constituency over the weekend, answering questions ranging from; pensions to cleaning up politics, government waste to how to help businesses, NHS to education and tonight I’ll be at St Mary’s Church Upton taking part in a public debate answering more questions from local residents.

Last Friday we also held a business event with a wide cross section of businesses from across the area all offering their views on what support they would require from an incoming Conservative Government.

Today we’re out in Hoylake and Newton. Jane has offered to do the driving – but only if I buy lunch!

Thanks to Roy and the rest of the team The Friends of Meols Park managed to collect just over 11,000 Wish tokens and have just handed them in to the Echo ….. fingers crossed that’s enough to get us started on our Viking Path around the play area, which we’re hoping all the local school children and Girl Guides will design.

There’s been a new addition to the West Kirby scene – the Red Door – and some of the team went there to try it out. We weren’t the only ones, Pete Price is tucked behind us there (you can see the back of him next to Sue), Dean Sullivan and Stan Boardman, Eddy from China Crisis and Jan Molby all went to try it out … everyone is crowding into West Kirby!
